Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a great start. If you follow me on Instagram (if you are on Instagram, please follow me!), you've seen this picture before. Well, I promised you the recipe, so here it is. This is actual my big brother's famous recipe. I always use it on steak, but I'm certain it would be good on poultry and veggies, too!
Brian's Marinade
Ingredients
3/4 c. dry red wine
1/2 c. olive oil
1 Tbls. Chopped onion
1 Tbls. Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 c. ketchup
1 Tbls. Chopped Rosemary
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 drops Hot Sauce
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large Ziploc bag. Add 2-4 lbs. steak. Marinate in frig for at least 3 hours. Take steak out of frig and allow to come to room temperature before cooking. Grill to perfection. Enjoy!
Okay, I think I know what we will be having for dinner later this week! Mouth-watering!!
Have a great day!
Looking for a quick, tasty steak dinner? Try this amazing 5 Star Steak Hoagie recipe! I made these Sunday night for dinner after having a hankering for some grilled steak. It comes together quickly and the payoff is juicy, mouth watering steak sandwiches! I got this recipe from Sandra Lee on the Food Network. Loved her show Semi-Homemade--why isn't it on anymore? Anyways, this was a hit with the entire family the first time I made it and was once again a big hit on Sunday.
5 Star Steak Hoagies
Ingredients
1.5 pound top round steak
2 Tbls. worcestershire sauce
1 Tbls. soy sauce
1 Tbls. spicy brown mustard
1 tsp. dried Italian Seasoning
Hoagie Rolls
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions:
Season steak with salt and pepper. Grill steak to medium. In large bowl, whisk together sauce ingredients and set aside. Remove steak and cover with foil. Let it rest 5 minutes. Slice steak thinly and toss in sauce. Fill hoagie rolls with steak, sprinkle with cheese and place under broiler until melted.
The sauce really makes these hoagies amazing. Yum...glad we had leftovers!
Thank you for stopping by!
